About Sculpi Climbing
Sculpi Climbing is a Danish brand built on a deep passion for climbing, fine craftsmanship, and natural materials. Our vision is simple: to bring the authentic feel of nature into the modern climbing gym through organic shapes and aesthetic wooden designs. Everything we make is crafted entirely from wood, driven by a constant desire to experiment with shapes, textures, and structures to inspire new movement on the wall.

While taking a leave of absence from my architecture studies, I moved to Sweden to gain hands-on woodworking experience at Treesign, a workshop crafting tiny houses.
Living far from the nearest climbing gym, I simply couldn’t stand not climbing as much as I wanted to. So, I quickly pitched the idea of building a campus board to the workshop owner.
He supported the idea from day one - something I’m deeply grateful for - and let me mount a full campus board right on the side of his office.
That campus board was the spark. It quickly led to my first hangboard and, soon after, my very first climbing holds.
Lunch breaks at the workshop were spent talking about climbing holds, brainstorming new concepts, and experimenting with different shapes and textures.
Once I had built a collection I was proud of, I brought them to the local gym for testing. The positive response from the climbing community inspired me to keep experimenting, refine my shapes, and reach out to more gyms.
When it was time to return to Denmark, the workshop owner gave me a generous farewell gift so I could continue shaping back home.
Making holds in a small apartment in Aarhus was far from ideal - wood dust and living rooms don't mix well - but I made it work while finishing my architecture degree.
Eventually, Sculpi Climbing found its space in a workshop. Today, Sculpi is based at Kjeldtoft Møbelsnedkeri, working alongside their fine furniture craftsmanship. Being part of this workshop brings inspiration as well as access to exceptional leftover wood - giving prime offcuts a second life on the climbing wall.
